(Wee Heavy) 7% ABV
Inspired by the slow friendly chat in the shelter at the end of a day in the mountains, Bothy Blether is a serious Wee Heavy with a hefty addition of fresh coriander. Historically vats used to store beer were made of wood, and the beer was often held for a year before release. During this time the beer would often undergo a very slow secondary fermentation from wild Brett yeasts. This version of Bothy Blether was held in stainless for a year, but MòR introduced a small pitch of Brettanomyces Clausennii to mimic how the style may have tasted traditionally.
Devenick Note:- “Andy & Bryan love a wee blether whilst up the hills. Another must have beer in your mountain satchel”
